About this treatment
Cryolipolysis uses precisely controlled cooling (typically –5°C to –11°C) to trigger apoptosis in subcutaneous fat cells while leaving skin, nerves and vessels unharmed. The body clears the treated fat cells through lymphatic drainage over 8–12 weeks.
Coolswiss and CoolSculpting are the two leading platforms in Thailand. Both use tissue-suction applicators sized for the abdomen, flanks, inner/outer thighs, bra roll, upper arms and submental (double-chin) area. A single cycle takes 35–60 minutes and typically reduces the treated fat layer by 20–25%. Two sessions spaced 6–8 weeks apart are common.
Frequently asked
Coolswiss vs CoolSculpting?+
Both use the same cryolipolysis principle. CoolSculpting (Zeltiq/Allergan) has the largest clinical dataset; Coolswiss is a Swiss-engineered platform often available at a lower per-cycle price.
How many sessions?+
Most areas require 1–2 cycles per zone, spaced 6–8 weeks apart.
Any risks?+
Rare paradoxical adipose hyperplasia (~1 in 4,000), temporary numbness, bruising and redness.
